Ground Breaking — Outdoor Expansion

We are pleased to announce we will break ground this week (weather permitting) on a new expanded outdoor area for dining, cocktails and future entertainment. During construction, the main entrance will be closed and signage will be in place to direct people to enter through the side entrances by the Drunken Donkey Bar.

While construction will start this week, the patio is not expected to be completed until the first part of June in time for the summer season. The patio will directly connect to the Drunken Donkey Bar and will feature a stamped concrete deck with seating for over 50 people with new tables, chairs, soft-eating area with couches, a fire pit, corn hole games, bar height tables and a new canopy.

The Pony Patio will be a great outdoor space to eat, drink and play. The new patio will provide an area for group events, after dinner drinks or for our parlor guests to take a break from the horse racing action. To make room for the addition, the Saddle Bar and Pony Buffet will be removed.  The buffet will return and relocated inside Cedar Lanes for group events and nightly features such as Dough and Taco bowl.

This is an exciting investment and is a result of our commitment to adapt and grow even during these difficult times.  We should all derive a great deal of pride to have survived and thrived together.  I am so proud of my Cedar Corner and Pony family and how we have weathered this pandemic TOGETHER!
